Dipa Ma

Directed by Kristin Kane, this biographical documentary reflects on the life of Dipa Ma Barua (1911–1989), a Buddhist meditation master from Bengal who taught many of the founders of the Western mindfulness tradition. Featuring Sharon Salzberg, Joseph Goldstein, Jack Kornfield, and Michele McDonald, with archival footage by Jack Kornfield. The film is currently in post-production, and will be released in 2023.
